SLR acquires Planetrics

SLR is pleased to announce that it has acquired Planetrics from McKinsey & Company. Planetrics is an industry-leading climate modelling business acquired by McKinsey in 2021.

Planetrics provides advanced modelling of physical and transition climate impacts across a variety of assets, sectors and regions. Its proprietary software helps leading banks, investors, insurers and corporates quantify and manage climate-related risks and opportunities through customisable scenarios and asset-level insights reflecting real-world policy, technology and market dynamics.

SLR is a leading global environmental and advisory consultancy, bringing deep sustainability and engineering expertise to client projects. Our teams provide practical insights into how climate risks, regulations and transition pathways manifest in real projects and operations.
