Liz Whinnett

Biography

Liz is an Associate Director at SLR , with fifteen years' experience across carbon, energy, resource efficiency, sustainability, climate risk and business support roles. Liz has a strong track record of managing complex carbon and climate projects, including delivering onsite energy and resource efficiency audits, developing net zero strategies, and supporting organisations to set and achieve Science Based Targets (SBTi). Liz also has significant experience managing projects aligned with the Taskforce on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) and producing TCFD-compliant disclosures.

Liz holds an MSc in Climate Change and Risk Management (Distinction) from the University of Exeter and a BSc in Geography (First) from the University of Southampton, and is a Practitioner member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA).
